About Intempo Psychiatry
Intempo Psychiatry was created with a simple idea in mind: thoughtful psychiatric care should allow time for understanding, reflection, connection, and meaningful collaboration.
Founded by Dr. Kirk McCall II, the practice integrates evidence-based approaches, recognizing that mental health is shaped by biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors. No single lens explains everything — and no single approach works for everyone.
Intempo Psychiatry is intentionally structured as an out-of-network practice to support longer visits, continuity, and deeper clinical thinking – qualities that can be difficult to maintain within traditional insurance-driven models of care. This design allows for more spacious appointments that don’t feel rushed, meaningful follow-up, and prompt communication between visits when appropriate.
Our goal is to create an environment where there is time to think, time to talk, and time to follow through.

Every person who comes to Intempo Psychiatry brings a unique history, set of strengths, and set of challenges. Our role is to understand the full picture – not just symptoms – and to work alongside you to create meaningful change over time.

Sometimes the work is practical. Sometimes it is reflective – inviting curiosity about the shifts you notice both in sessions and in your day-to-day life. Often, it is a blend of both.
